GrandOak is made from European Oak. As a natural timber product, knots will be present, as well as the use of black and/or colours fillers. Colour variation and grain are to be expected and will also vary on the floor boards. These variations will occur from batch to batch, between samples and the actual stock delivered and installed. These variations are normally present in the GrandOak collections and are not considered defects. Furthermore, it will not form the basis of any claims under the warranty.

Characteristics such as filler colour and timber grading will be specific to individual products and ranges.
 
Filled defects are trace amounts of the heartwood are present.

Timber flooring is not colour-fast, and the colour will change over time when exposed to UV light. Surface checking may be present.
 
Variations to both the natural and artificial characteristics of this product are to be expected between individual samples as well as manufactured batches. These variations may include but are not limited to colour, grain, knots and fillers - these are not considered to be defects.
 
All GrandOak floors must be installed by a competent approved installer who has all the necessary skills and take individual site circumstances into account. GrandOak's warranty only apply to floors which have been installed according to the GrandOak installation instructions available in each pack and also on this site.
